It's a New Day and a New Blog!

Things change all the time, don't they? I've been playing around with a side hustle for a lot of years and have enjoyed it.. Recently I started doing door hangers and I love it.. Well, to be true, that isn't the whole story.

About 6 weeks ago, I volunteered to help a friend's church with their social media. Since then, I have been doing all of the facebook posts for Summit Church San Diego. It has truly been a wonderful experience and a great way for me to serve. It has forced me to be more present in the Sunday message and to slow down and growth my relationship with the Lord throughout the week.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided that I wanted to try having a paint party. I was hoping to have 10 people come. I had 22. I was floored. The response was so good that I decided to go ahead and schedule another one. It sold out in about 24 hours with 45+ people. Deciding to strike while the iron is hot, I booked yet another date, currently there are about 30 people registered for that party.

I spent some time thinking about it and realized that this was truly a blessing from God. Sometimes His blessings are not easy to see. Sometimes you have to really listen to hear His whispers. I love it when He is obvious!

So, door hangers and parties and social media for churches it is. Where He leads me, I will follow. I know that if the Father's hand is in it, that is what I should be doing. I love the fun of creating. I love being a blessing to someone. I being able to spread the Word in my own way. So...stay tuned, lots of cute stuff, fun ideas, and great words will be coming soon.
